The School Garden Company evolved from the teaching experiences of Lisa Ludwigsen, the company's owner and president. In her previous job developing and implementing a comprehensive garden at a K-8 public school in Petaluma, California, Lisa saw firsthand the immense benefit school gardens provide students, teachers and families. Gardens create a meaningful context for teaching academic standards and introducing the joy of growing and eating fresh, seasonal food.

Our Team

Our core team of five women met and worked together as volunteer parents at the school in Petaluma. Our company's charming illustrations were created by two students who spend regular class time learning and growing in the school garden. We are dedicated to creating a healthy, thriving business while caring for our families and ourselves.

Commitment to Quality

We use the highest quality ingredients available, including certified organic whenever possible. Our olive oil, medicinal plants, essential oils & beeswax all come from local sources. Our products are pure, unadulterated and highly effective.

Commitment to Education
